Helen:
Gee, Jerry we seem to be getting a lot of garbage about what you would like
people to write, but wasn't the idea of your list, which by the way you never
explained why you had such an urge to start, a free and open discussion. Oh,
that right YOU were offended by some of the language. Mr. Mcdonald, YOU are
now expressing offence at an idea. You know, I still think the best cure for
offensive ideas is more free speech, not less. I can't think of Till
complaining about anything except poor spelling, lack of proof reading, (He
is an ex-English teacher) and when the list traffic gets heavy, off topic
posts. Jerry I know you started your list to save us from the evils of Till's
but what were those evils, John Hamilton's mild poem? Yoel's slightly obscene
but interesting explanations of the Hebrew language? Talk of the Song of
Solomon? Please Jerry I'm very serious what was it you were running from?
What is it you have such a need to stop people from saying? Actually I guess
it stopping other people from hearing? What are you trying to protect us
from?
Please answer!
