I'm not familiar with a lot of these, but I am with the following...

Note the date on this. 1931. What the apologists won't talk about is
Kathleen Kenyon's excavation of Jericho in 1955, which came to _quite_
a different conclusion. Basically, Garstang was either inept, or lying.
His own partner disputed his findings!

This page also covers a little bit about Glueck, who the author of
the article you quoted seems to think quite highly of. Apparently,
his reputation among real archaeologists isn't nearly as good as
it is with fundamentalists.
